I want to serve in Austin to make sure our elections are secure. If voters don’t trust the electoral system, they very likely will not vote. We must have free and fair elections. Digital election interference is a real threat, and we must be vigilant to manage it. Texas must continue to make sure that the system is secure and that voter rolls are reviewed for accuracy.

As Vice Chairman of Republican Party of Hunt County, I did a thorough analysis of the November 2022 election in our county. I found several anomalies that are now being addressed, such as more than two dozen people on the voter list that are over the age of 100 and most of those are no longer living. I did not find any obvious evidence of election fraud.  We are fortunate to have a very good voter administrator and staff in Hunt County and elsewhere in the state, although the big counties are struggling.  I am glad the legislature just passed Senate Bill 1070 to withdraw from the national Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC) crosscheck program.
